Title: Air Suspension on c20/c30
Post by: Da67goatman on August 20, 2017, 09:20:44 am
I need help and information on setting up a front air suspension specific to the heavier duty 3/4 and 1 ton suspension.  I'm having trouble finding anyone online willing to share information about their builds.  My goal is a factory ride height more or less but with better ride quality and more versatility.  Usually I end up being the only one with my idea and have to figure it out on my own so I won't be too surprised if that's how this goes.  At this time I'm only concerned with the front suspension.

Does anyone know of tubular lower arms/ full cross-member already set up for airbags that have the 3/4 ton ball joints and bushings?  Or is that something I'm going to have to fab myself?

Reasoning for scrapping the factory stuff:
#1 weight savings
#2 revised geometry
#3 much cleaner aesthetics

P.S. Porterbuilt offers a custom cross-member but to the tune of $3k + another $1k for arms and that's just absurd.
