Hello all,
I am new to this site and a new c10 owner. I am having a problem with my 400 using excessive oil, I do get the occasional puff of smoke on start up and am pretty sure valve seals are leaking, however it's using about 1 quart ever 300 miles maybe less. Compression is good and even, no oil spots on driveway so I doubt it's the rear main leaking, coolant looks clean from what I can see. I'm not sure what else could be causing so much oil loss. Anyone have a similar experience? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
