Can anyone tell me if it is just a matter of moving the passenger side mount forward or is there a different mount needed. A photo of a 292 mount would be nice. Thanks, John.

I think it is a different mount alltogether. I have one at the house that I can take a pic of. If you are talking about the mount that connects to the frame stand, those are the same. Chris Lucas

Chris, if you could post a photo I would appreciate it. I was at the dealer today and the computer lists a different part number but no diagram and no stock of course. If I can't find one in the junk yards I'll have to make something. Shouldn't be to hard if I had a picture to go off of. Thanks, John.

Thanks for the photo Chris but it's the frame side of the engine mount that I'm trying to find the placement of. Thats the bracket that bolts to the frame and the crossmember on the passenger side. John.

how are ya im in australia and over here most of our chev trucks had 292 in them .........so i have done a few v8 swaps.........the frame bracket is the same just move it forward......we have to move them back......hehehe
