I have a 79 chevy 4x4 with a 350, attached to a th350 with the np203. Ever sence i have bought the truck i have never known how fast i am going. Now with the 350 bored and rebuilt it has a little more get up and go. I need an speed sensor off and np203. I think that is what it is called. It is bolted to the transfer case and the speedometer is attached to it. If any one knows where i could get one. Could you please tell me. Thank you.

You should be able to just install the speedo cable and be fine, that is how mine is and all it does is bounce a little. Mine had the same thing, ended up needing both a speedo cabe and a speedometer. Go to Autozone and look for the speedo cable from a 1978 Chevrolet K-10 without cruise, they will show 3 different ones or so, ask for the longest one and use it, it is like 100 inches or so. That is what I am running now, the slightly shorter one will break as you would have to bend it to get it to fit at all. The cable will run you about $13.00 or so.
