Title: Restoration update ( grandpa's truck)

I just wanted to show off my work so far, if finished the engine with rebuilt and repainted everything ( upper half only )  and I started on the rust repair . I've got new floors, inner and outer rockers , cab corners , lower fender corners and inner and outer door skins. Looking good. Hang the doors and use sheet screws to make sure everything lines up right before welding. Hate to see you do all this work and have the rocker too high or something.

Good point I would have just welded it all in and tried to put the doors back on later. Thank you

Definitely do not do that! The door needs to be properly fit before you weld anything.

I've replaced quarter panels on cars before but this is my first rocker panel replace , glad I posted and you guys replied before I started burning it in. I'm going to end up replacing the floors and kick panels too since there's not enough left to weld to
