I wanna put 20x12 in the rear of my 85 step side chevy, so will the fit with out doing a bunch of stuff or will I have to do alot to it to make them fit?
-
I assume you're talking about the rim size ?
That would depend a lot on what size tire you use
And what backspace and offset the rims have
And only one way to find out ....
-
Yes sir rim size is what I'm talking about and I'm thinking of running a 315x35x20. And as far as back spacing that's kinda what I was hoping to do was find an answer.

Best way is find some tricks you like the wheels on and find out the specs of the rims and suspension mods
I assume your truck is lowered ?

Ok will do, it's lowered, I know it's had the helper leaf removed and 2 inch shackles and the previous owner heated the front coils, so I gotta get some springs and spindles to be able to get it lined up correctly.

I've seen a few at shows
And if you could find some online you might be able to contact the builder or owner and get details
Cheaper and faster than buying a bunch of Rims and tires and trying to figure out what fits and what hits
Might be able to go to a local shop that sells that style rims and tires
and pay em for their labor to mount up a few and test fit em
In some sketchy neighborhoods that are places that RENT rims and tires
Might be a good place to find out what fits

Never thought about that lol
