Title: Steering squeak
Post by: 77 Scottsdale on November 02, 2017, 01:59:15 pm
Hello Chevy truck people. whenever I turn my steering wheel all the way there is a loud squealing sound, but only when I turn them all the way. Any other time it is perfect. Anyone know what might be causing it? Thanks

Belt squeal or cavitation from pump loading as the steering hits the stops.  Check the belt condition and tension.  Check the P/S pump fluid level and condition.
