Title: 700r4 problem

hi, i am new to this board. i have a 86 chevy 4x4 with a 350 and a 700r4 and i just put a brand new edelbrock 1406 carb on it and am having trouble getting the linkage for the transmission set up right. does anyone have any "tricks" to getting that right?

Doyou get the bracket to adapts teh new Edelbrock carb to the 700R4 TV cable. list at edelbrock.com

yup, you need the adapter
