Title: New from Chicago, need some help

Hi there. Just joined here. We're doing an 83 c1500 shop truck.  When we took delivery of it from down south, (everything here in Chicago is rusted away), we found the frame has a horrible twist. I'm looking for a stock frame, can anyone help me out here? I found one in Texas, but the guy wouldn't ship it for me. Any suggestions.

Longbed or shortbed, it makes a difference?  Craigslist is the best bet, be willing to travel some.  Best of luck in your search.  Welcome from the St. Louis, MO area

These trucks are all over in Georgia, TN, Alabama and the Carolinas.  I would do an ISO (in search of ) on facebook, especially the big garage sales sites, but you can really pick this stuff up reasonably off the beaten path.
