Title: Ac blend door actuator knocking

On passenger side under glove box. Which acuator is this? This is on 92 GMC Sierra k1500. Thank you happy holidays

Does it only do it when it reaches its final position? When you change it does it stop?

It's most likely the actuator motor is broken but you need to remove it to check it. See the attached pic.

PS - non 73-87(91) vehicle questions go in General Discussion which is why it was moved.

When I go from defrost to floor it knocks. Go from floor to defrost it stops.

my 94 will do this sometimes. almost like the motor itself shuts the door then the last inch it just slams it just once. or does it click multiple times?

Multiple times. Rick/flap sound. About 20 times then it stops. Driving me nuts

The image shows you where the mode door actuator is. What other help are you looking for?

im with vile. sounds like the actuator broken. i picked one up from the junkyard years ago to replace mine and its still going.
