Title: Shifter Linkage ?
Post by: Tyus4 on February 11, 2006, 07:46:00 pm: I have a 1980 C-10 and it didn't come w/ the shifter linkage. I recently purchased a linkage from a member. I'm thinkin it attaches to the frame and might need a spring also. Can anyone else confirm this? Right now I have it running from the column to the tranny and it seems like its too loose/flimsy to shift. W/O the linkage, it shifts fine so I know its not the tranny.

Post by: roundedline on February 13, 2006, 11:15:00 am: The linkage doesn't go directly to the trans, there is a pivot at the frame that it goes to also.
