Recently purchased 1987 3500 High Sierra, 350cid, w/TBI. Just forward of the TBI, there's a tan/white wire that is not connected. I'm hoping someone can identify where, in the fuel related system, it should be connected. I have attempted to attach a photo showing the wire (colored arrow).
The issue I'm working on is to solve a cold start problem...

If no one answers I'll try to look tonight or tomorrow.

Thank-you.
I tested and found continuity between the tan/white wire forward of the TBI, and the fuel pump relay (firewall). They're certainly within the same circuit. I next checked for voltage...none...appears as a ground. I really don't like to have a stray wire left, as I'm currently installing two fuel tanks and pumps.
