Title: Divorced choke to manual choke.
Post by: Mandolino on December 22, 2017, 09:08:59 am
Long story short just bought a 74 k10.
The thing was in bad shape it turned on but didn't idle decided to get a rebuilt qjet. A cheap intake manifold and some other small things to get it running. Installed it all took it to a shop to do the timing and carb adjustments runs like a champ. But the new intake doesn't have a spot for the divorced choke. So I want to install  a manual choke.
Is there a specific kit? Or can I some how MacGyver a universal one to the brackets on the carb currently

Would just rather have one less thing to adjust every now and then

Once adjusted properly the electric choke should never need adjusting again
