anyone know if a 241c w/272ratio will bolt up to a 700r trans? i currently have a 208c 2 w/261ratio,that is slipping out of 4wheel while i am snowplowing(was told it needs a rebuild).
will the gear ratio change be a problem?

You sure it dosn't need the shifter adjusted?
I put new motor mounts in my 86 3/4ton and then the tcase sliped inbetween 2 and 4 wheel drive. I took the linkage out freed it up, reinstalled, and adjusted. It never bothered again.
As far as bolting up, as long as the output input shaft diamiter and spline count are the same it will work. If i rember correctly there is 28 spline and 32 spline inputs on the 208s.
Whats is the 241 outr of? I have only ever seen 203, 205, and 208s t cases in C / K and V / R modle trucks.

The 241c came in some 89-91 fullsize blazers and in 4x4 s-10's.

hey blazin what type of adjuting did you do to the linkage? the 241 t case is out of a 91 suburban.

Thats what I thought Scotsdale, but I couldn't remember the # off the top of my head.
Which side is the front output on bfofish?
The shift linkage is threaded. I removed, it freed it up, reinstalled it, & adjusted it so the shifter was locked into 4 wheel drive. Edited by: Blazin at: 3/9/06 11:22 pm
