Title: 73 Chevrolet Stepside From TEXAS

Hello, Im Jason from Granbury texas.  Bought a 73 Chevrolet Stepside for $800.  I had one exactly like this when I was 16. 

Now when I got into more further.  Everything is just rotted away.  body is in good shape.  I want to keep the patina. 

I want to lift it  and have a new suspension and motor. 

Looking for a 4x4 2001-2007 Silverado SWB -  Im pulling the Silverado body off and putting the C10 on top of it. 

Has anyone done this? 

New Engine, lifted suspension, brakes, power brakes, etc - The whole 9 yards but keeping the patina body 73.
