Title: 84 C10 clutch rod hole locatioin
Post by: Ronno6 on April 06, 2018, 11:27:53 am
I have seen a few old threads on the topic, but I am unable to view any photographs.
I am converting my '84 Chevy C10 from automatic to 4 speed, and
need the location of the hole for the clutch linkage to pass thru the firewall/floorboard.
Is there a way to convey this dimessionally?
Or, can someone provide a photo, please?
Is there a dimple or other marker present on the body ?
Do I need to do something in order to view photos?

Thanks.

There are 2 dimples in the cab, best seen if you peel back the insulation and floor covering around the steering column area

Thanks.
I looked there and found 3 dimples.
Makes sense as the boot has 3 mounting holes.

Was this a test??
Thanks again!
