New guy here. Just took delivery of my new (to me) 79 C-10. It’s a Big 10, Bonanza, Trailering Special. GM sure did like all their Packages in the 70’s, didn’t they.
I had a 78’ C-20 in HS and while in the Marines. Like most kids, I messed it up. Now, it’s time to do it right.
So right now, I’m just trying to get it running. The Idle Circuit in the carb is gunked up and it won’t idle at all. Got that pulled off and going to tear it down when the parts get here.
Someone in the past had installed an Edelbrock carb and Manifold. Usual 1406. The flange on the manifold looks like it’s for a spreadbore.... I’ll dig into that tomorrow.
Oh, and yeah, it’s a long box. I like em long and low.
