Title: blower motor
Post by: Lt.Del on April 13, 2006, 08:23:00 pm
What the heck does this hose do?  My guess is to keep air circulating to the blower motor to keep it cool.  The older trucks do not have this.  This is on my 91 blue burb.

I believe I am missing a part...the hose kinda just sits up to the hole in the motor housing.  I would think there would be a plastic piece the keeps it there.

The grommet is built right into the end of the hose.Fits snuggly into the blower motor.

Thanks Pugsy.  I think my hose must've wore out or something.  It doesn't stay in place.

Just drive up to my house near Toronto and you can have this one for free.

Ha, I'm in route.  Coming north bound I- 95.  I'll be there by Monday. With gas prices and such, it'll only cost me $600 in gas.

By the location of the hose, it looks like you're right about what it does Sgt. Del. That's a heck of a way to get to drive pugsy's yellow truck.

Ha!!, I'd be happy to run up there to shovel pugsys driveway for a chance to drive that Flyin Banana!!!! Only problem is the gas for me too, you don't think I could get to Toronto from Sarasota (south of Tampa Fl.) on a half tank do ya???

It'll take one -_- tail wind. But then you'll have to stop for the all time rush hour traffic in NY.
