Title: Drop and Hauling Capacity
Post by: devildogmech on June 27, 2018, 12:06:59 am
Hey all,

Question about using the Truck as a "Truck" after doing a drop. I have a 79' C-10 LWB with a 350/350. That's eventually going to be a 5.3/4L60E.

Anywho, I'm wanting to do a very mild drop. say 2/4. I figure drop spindles and a shackle kit.

The question, is will this inhibit my use of the truck for hauling stuff? One of the reasons I got an old truck, was to have a truck! I want to be able to haul a half ton of gravel and tow a trailer.

Will this mild of a drop keep me from doing this? Would helper air-springs be a good idea?

TIA
William B.
