Title: Frame Changes 72 to 73
Post by: Frozenoak on July 09, 2018, 05:55:57 pm
I'm trying to figure out how much changed on the frame between 72 and 73 (specifically behind the rear axle).  There are several aftermarket gas tanks for the 63-72 year model trucks to relocate them behind the rear axle.  I'd like to install one on my 74 C10 short bed.  It may sound silly but I don't like where the filler neck is on a blazer tank.  I would like it to be closer to a corner as I plan to do the "behind the taillight" filler conversion and I'd like the two to be fairly close.

@Captkaos how did you finish this truck? http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/blazertank.html

Regards,
Dale

Yes, I could, but I wanted to explore my options first.
