Ordered the bully step up bars for my 79 k10. Has anyone used these? They mount to the back side of the rocker panel. Has anyone had good luck with them or any bad luck? Thanks

Oh i dont go off road or 4 wheeling. My wife is 5 ft 3 so she need help to get in the cab lol

Because there is no truck frame outboard of the gas tank, these steps bolt to the flat vertical piece at the bottom of the cab. It seems a little flimsy, but mine have been on for at least 10-12 years, and they are still fine. I did have an issue when my son took it mudding because the mud pushed up on the step and that push in the wrong direction loosened everything up, but it went back together fine.
When you bolt it to the cab there is very little space between the cab and the gas tank to fit the bracket and bolts. I think I had to experiment a little to get a bolt that was exactly the right length.

ive never used these so take it with a grain of salt. but the rockers are a know rust issue on our trucks, normally the first place to rust out. i wouldnt want to attach something that might speed this process up or even allow someones body weight to twist it.

Have them on my 1977 K20. They were on the truck when I bought it and are still there! I use them all of the time and I don't perceive any flex when stepping up on them. I am 6' - 210 lb. I have owned the truck for about 18 years.

I've had them bout 12 years on my 1985 K10 LWB no problems.
