First post I recently picked up an 88 v2500 suburban Dana 60 kingpin front with FF 14 rear little rusty body so I picked up a 90 GMC r1500 to swap the axles under clean body and new looking interior.

Picture of the 88 it is suppose to be an ex forest service truck with 40k original miles. I don’t believe the mileage after 1500 miles and 8 quarts of oil I believe it has a few more that 40k on the clock.

Couple interior pictures of the 90 I’ll have to take some of the outside.

Welcome to the site. Looks like a great project. The 40k miles might be right. Some of the government/municipal agency vehicles have a lot of idle time on them. I'm guessing that's why the police package crown vics have hour meters.

Welcome from the St. Louis, MO area!

Thank you. Future plans are swapping the v2500 axles under the r1500 and eventually a 6.0ls with 4l80 and some kind of doubler transfer case. Possibly a 231/241 or 231/300 with 4:1. Not sure which yet.
