Title: Radiator core support mounting kit

I ordered a radiator core support mounting kit from a popular mail order company that has parts for our trucks. I received the kit and went to install it only to discover the upper and lower bushings DO NOT fit inside of each other like they are supposed to. I tried just tightening it down to see if they would slip inside of each other but that hasn’t worked. Anyone ever used this kit?  The only thing I know to do is sand/remove some of the rubber on the upper bushing so it will fit inside the lower. Any help is appreciated.

Some pictures would sure help. And what year? Different styles were used.

Hey, sorry.  I've been away.  Thanks for the reply.  I was able to get the bushings to fit by slightly sanding some of the rubber off so they would nestle inside each other like they are supposed to.
