Title: Presently Calif, working on next "move"

New man here. I haven't got this truck yet but its in the bag though, 74 1/2 ton FS LWB V8 granny trans (don't like it) looking for an OD trans reason why these trucks suck gas without an OD setup.  I thought this place/forum is as good enough to start looking into getting info and maybe giving some back.
 I been retired for going on 3 years now, been fixing things up on my house to get it ready to sell  and get the heck out of dodge opps "Calif"no kids no dog/cat  thinking on a bird one that doesn't talk. I know its a short story but sometimes its better that way, LOL if you know what I mean. Mikie

Welcome from the St. Louis, MO area, retired 10 months now.  Great story!!! OD's help but remember our style trucks are aerodynamic as a brick...

Thanks Roy. Wow Texas and your name is Roy again wow I have or had an Uncle named Roy (80 esh now) he has/had three sisters, I know its a long shot but does Gautier Mississippi ring a bell to you, LOL Uncle?
