Title: Speedo problem

Speedo worked fine last fall. During winter I pulled dash cluster, cleaned up, replaced bulbs
With brighter ones, put dash back in. Brought truck out this spring and speedo started acting up.
Seemed a little slow, then started getting worse and now don't work at all. Did cable pull out of
Speedo back or is my problem somewhere else. I am sure it was pushed all way back on and
Clipped at Re-assembly.. Could the cable have come apart between speedo and trans? Thanks.

I WD 40 'd the firewall seal that the cable goes thru. I then pushed on tha cable as it was tight before and it must must moved enough so that the speedo now works. Crazy, but it worked.
