Hey all
I have a 87 v10 silverado 350 efi with dual tanks, do I have 1 or 2 in tank fuel pumps? If 1 is it left or right tank
Thanks

There is one in each tank. The pump is located inside the tank to prevent a low pressure side before the pump. This would decrease the boiling point of the fuel and cause it to vaporize much easier. Also having an in tank pump helps regulate it's temperature and quiet it's operation.

There is a switching valve that operates the flow control and operation of each pump.
