We are starting on my son's truck. It's a 1982 K20. I am looking at just replacing the whole bed since both sides have a rust problem over the wheel wells. I can find plenty of C10 beds but not a single K20. My question is, will a C10 bed fit on a K20? Thanks for any help.

Welcome.

Welcome from SoCal!
Should work fine!
C is two wheel drive and K is 4 wheel drive.
Make sure it's the same length, they came long and short, and (my fave) step side, which is always short.

Always short stepside if you are only talking about 73-87(91). 2nd Gen trucks had the Longhorn stepside bed!

It's a fleet side.
I got stupid lucky today and found a great donor vehicle. Going to start pulling parts from it next week.

Aww too bad about the fleet.... 8)
What year is it?
There is a guy on here looking for a firewall donor. Search 'firewall'

Long or short fleet?
I'm thinking about taking a Crew cab I have and cutting it down for short fleet dually. One of a kind!

It's a long bed.
I used to have a 76 K10 stepside but I sold it when I needed more cab space for kids. I still regret it, but it had to happen. I couldn't let it sit and rot.

I feel your pain man, gave my last '73 3+3 Crew cab to my sister who summarily trashed it.
They are still around, this is a '88 3+3 CC Dually 8.3' Fleet. It was in a horse field in the mountains about 30 miles from here, had a torched transmission, TH400 behind a 454 TBI.
The truck is straight, interior clean, just some patina on some paint spots, think I'll clear coat it and forget it.
She's back on the road, just doing some cosmetic stuff to the cab over camper so I can move it and start on this truck.
Don't tell anyone she's a '88, too new for this site.... ;D
