Title: What tire wheel combo you running on your 2.5”/4” drop?
Post by: 30-A Rider on January 23, 2020, 10:10:56 am
Yes another tire/wheel thread with a drop will it fit thread do so apologize. I’ve read for hours and as in a previous post I’m surprised there is not a stick thread with members listing their year, drop height, wheel and tire specs.

Anyway I have an 85 1/2 ton long wheel base 2wd. Looking to lower minimal just 2.5”/4” drop.

Wheels I’m looking at 18” x 8.5” with 5.15” back space. Tires I’m guessing 275/45-18

Anyone running anything similar they can share specs so I can feel confident before purchasing.

Thanks for any replies in advance.

Because these trucks came with different spring and brake combinations, there is no simple recipe to follow. Your best bet is to measure your ride yourself. Personally I don't like any wheels bigger than 17" so I can't offer you any feedback on your 18"s.

I bought one of these which came in handy at finding the right combo when I didn't have try-on's
