Title: '90 V3500 ex-air force paint code not regular
Post by: Mungo on April 08, 2020, 02:25:27 pm
Hi,
My one-ton crew-cab is ex-air force and the glove box sticker doesn't have a regular paint code, does anyone know how the read these?
It's a bark blue truck, non-metallic:
in the bottom left-hand corner of the sticker is "WAEM",
in the bottom right-hand corner is "WA-L0000 U0000 24W", then next line "ORDER NO 970HB7"
I'm guessing that the government orders a special color.
Any hints appreciated.
Regards, Tim

IIRC, the color is called Air Force Strata Blue.  Type that in your browser adding the words paint code and you should get results.  Otherwise, Zieg 85 may have other ideas/info.
