Hello all, new here to the forum! I have a 1983 Chevy C10 Stepside and I’m looking at buying new shocks. From what I’ve read, Monroe shocks seem to be the best choice for a smoother ride. Would Monroe shocks be a good choice, or should I look for something else?

Welcome from SoCal!
They are fine if you're just using for street.
I thought Magnum would be great for my K10, rough as heck, ditched them after about 3 months. I don't off road this truck much at all, so I switched to Rancho street shocks.

Bilsteins are very good!

Agreed...10x the shock Monroe and Rancho (made by Monroe, different paint job) will ever be.
