Hey guys, what all is involved with replacing the fleetside sheet metal?
My main question is: is this piece welded in or just bolted?
I see bolts but not having it apart or having ever taken one apart I don't know what to expect.
Please post some pics or advice that you may have. 8)

I replaced both of my Fleetside bed panels. They are bolted together, no welds. The chinese made panels I bought had holes that came close to lining up but I had to redrill many holes. At the end of the day it was a rewarding experience.

That's good to know.
A rep from AMD said they wouldn't have the panel I need until August sometime. :P

there are a couple welds at the bottom of the rear stake pocket. Easy to cut with a grinder.

Make sure to locate these before you try to take it apart. Ask me how I know!!
