Hey everybody, first off let me start of by saying this is an excellant forum. I'm new here, i'm also new to chevy's. I've grown up with fords, i still own a 02 f350 powerstroke. I just bought an 87 chevy silverado k10. Its definetally a project, its just going to be a mud truck, trailered everywhere no on road driving. I bought it with no motor, it origanally had a 305tbi. I see a bunch of wires yet i see no computers or modules. I want to build a 350 for it and i think it would be easier to go with a carb instead of the tbi. I would like some opinions on what i should do. i could also use some help on if i do go with a carburated engine which wires can and cannot be deleted. Welcome from N.H. The computer should be behind the glove box with a harness exiting to the engine right behind where the distributor cap would be located with engine installed.
Mud truck only needs the basics, starter, altinator, and gauges.
