Title: Replacing drum breaks
Post by: runnergeorge on August 30, 2020, 03:08:54 am
Hey everyone. I have a 75 c10 Cheyenne. I’m looking to replace the rear brakes. I want to get a good kit that comes with all the springs, cylinder, and get new pads. I’ve been looking in the 74 and 75 service manuals for some specifications on the size of pads to get but I can’t seem to find anything. Does anyone have any pointers on where to find specifications? Any any tips on kits to look at? Thank you!

Look for the option code on the SPID label, or pull the drum off and measure the shoes, or buy both sets and return the wrong ones, whichever is easiest. O'Riellys seems to have a pretty good hardware kit that comes with more parts. Go wherever best suits you locally.
