Does anyone know the thread size of the wiper motor mounting screws? I thought it was 10-24 but that appears to be inaccurate.

Wow, how random! I just landed the motor out of my '80 C10 into my K10 and noticed the threads were off, as in kind of weird. Mike, I'll look tomorrow and get back to you. ;)

They are 10-24

Thanks VZ! That is a big help. I have to tap out the holes that got a little messed up from working my firewall. Appears my first guess was accurate.

They sell the kits with bushings and or ground straps and tapered screws if yours are beat.

Thanks VZ! I bought new screws (a couple of the old one broke when I tried to use them and I had to drill them out) from Classic Parts and already had a new Wiper Motor/Pump. Is there supposed to be a ground strap on the Wiper Motor? I was thinking about a ground strap kit (with all the needed ground straps) for my build if you know of a good place to get one. I checked out this forums store prior to asking and did not see anything.

Yes, the kits online sell the bushings with the ground strap or you can make your own. On that note, I've been meaning to update the wiper section in the tech forum. I will do that today and add the note about the screw size.
