Hi all, I have my dads old 1981 custom deluxe that I’m restoring, and I have a question about paint. The paint code on the glove box sticker calls the paint 43 P EMERALD GREEN but if I try to look it up all I can find is 43 BRIGHT GREEN  no mention of the P anywhere.... so is the P just mean “paint”?? 
And is code 43 the same paint no matter what they call it?
Also I’ve painted about 1/2 dozen or so cars in my day with the older siphon feed guns with enamel and lacquer.... any paint guys what to take a stab on filling me in on the newer base coat clear coat that seems to be the thing now, snd is the old enamel still available? and maybe some pointers on spraying with a gravity system? I would be Appreciative for any help.
