Title: Antenna Connection Broken at Windsheild
Post by: FlatBlack77 on July 27, 2021, 05:49:11 am
I was having alot of static while listening to FM. I jiggled some wires and this was the last one I tried. It was just barely hanging on and it completely broke free.

Is there a fix for this? Maybe some type of connector or adhesive? Thanks for your time.

I believe the window is ok. Its hard to tell with out seeing it in person. The piece on the window you should be able to pop off with a small screwdriver. it belongs in the connector which is Broken. The connector should pull out of the cable by pulling at the base towards you. NAPA ECH EC57 OR STANDARD S833. GM part number 6270498 is discontinued.

You sir are awesome. 100% exactly what I needed to know about how it comes apart and how to replace it. My hat is off to you.

I was afraid to move it or see how it came apart for fear of making it worse before I got some guidance. Old truck parts can be brittle lol
