I need to replace the wheel cylinder inside the drum brake. I have it torn down to the backing plate. I can't get at where the brake line connects behind the backing plate because of the huge leaf spring in the way. Is there a trick? Thank you!!

I ended up taking out the bolts that hold on the backing plate and pulled it forward to give me room.

Crack the line loose, unbolt it, slide it forward, hold onto the line with a flare nut wrench and spin it off.
