Recent development:
Starter does not engage immediately, then after holding the position for a few seconds a few times, it engages.
After it engages and as the motor starts to run, it acts like it re-engages, causing the sound of gears clashing as though one is trying to start a running engine.
Only for a second, but is unnerving!
Is the starter switch wearing out?
Maybe my muffler bearing is shot? :o
