Title: Stepside backup light location

Hi All,

My 1976 Chevy K-10 Stepside came with 1977 one piece square tail lights. I am trying to go back to the original round tail light and round back up lights. My question is which one goes on top? I have seen photos online both ways. I am trying to be factory correct.

I wasn't aware the early versions were round...

I would guess that the backup's were on the bottom, as the brake/blinker should dominate. Pry wrong... ;)

found one with red round brake light on top of round backup light. They have separate mounting pieces that attach behind the stake thingy???
