Can someone also tell me if a sending unit from a 1990 Chevy Suburban is the same as a sending unit from an 87 Chevy P/U?  Thanks

No it's not the same and you need to know which side it's on.

Autozone lists them for $174.99

Go with the eBay one

$280 from a chain store is cheap to me.  The last one I got was from GM, and it was about $320 with my discount.

Are you copying the link or clicking in it?  It is to an ebay auction.  the ebay item number is 110088448296 if you want to look it up...

I was able to veiw the link but one question do you know if the sending unit for the 87's have the fittings on the pressure and return lines.  I used the complete gas lines from the 90 suburban and would like to keep the fittings for a more secure connections between the gas lines and the sending unit.  Thanks in advance.
