Title: Hidden Wiper Motor
Post by: 74_squared on June 08, 2022, 08:19:38 pm
Looking to shave the firewall on my first build and I'd like to relocate the wiper motor out of sight. I've done some searching and can't seem to find anything although I've seen pictures of clean firewalls. Anyone have any info or recommendations?

Given the current parameter of these trucks, you'd have to design something revolutionary to transfer the action of the existing motor to be out of sight. I have faith you CAN! Please let us know, many of us hate with a loathing the current state of the "firewall". Butt ugly...

That is awesome VZ! Did you mount the motor on the inside under and through the cowl?

I did not use the factory motor, but yes it is tucked in the cowl. I'll try to get out there and take a few pix.
