				Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anybody knows whether or not a glideout will work on a K30?

I'm getting new tires today and a friend gave me all the parts except the frame crossmembers, which are proving difficult to find.  I'm not sure I can even fit a spare given the factory 235/85R16 tire size but I'd like to be able to keep a spare with me out of the bed.

I have included a picture of my frame under-bed - I have found what I think is one of the necessary crossmembers which I have also attached. I know that I will also need the flat forward crossmember, which I'm still on the hunt for.

Before I waste time and money, I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows if this is even possible on the one ton 4X4s?

 I appreciate any feedback!

Know the feeling, don't want to run without a spare, don't want to take up bed space, and my tires (33 x 12.5 "E" load rating) won't fit under the bed with a real hitch. Made this movable spare mount with gas spring assist, it works well for us. Just for insurance I also put a tie-down strap thru the rim slots and go around the rack upright. In case anything went wrong I wouldn't want that wheel getting away and striking anyone. The mount can compensate for tread wear.

I always wanted to practice TIG welding and needed a good excuse to get a new TIG machine, plus I had lots of time during the plandemic.

Ah, yes TIG, something I still PLAN to try.

Saw what you did there... 8)
