Have you installed running boards or side steps? Looking for recommendations and advice.
I see Bully and Carr look good, but installation instructions never included to see how they install.
Traditional long running boards brackets look like they will hit the gas tank.

I put nerf bars on the stepside I did for the guy who owns it. He wanted them for help getting in and out. Originally I installed hoop steps for him but he wanted the nerf bars. Fitment is terrible for both and require fabrication. As far as looks, I think they both look terrible. If I had to run something I would do drop down hide away steps.

I couldn't wait to take mine off. It's probably just me, but it makes the truck look fuddy-duddy.

I do have a step stool for the vertically challenged.

I found some videos on installation, the hoops do look wonky, and the running boards like it should be on a ‘52.
I like nerf bars.
But first thing is to drop the lift back to original. New springs are here, just need to clean them up and paint. Maybe this will no longer be an issue.
I live on a gravel road. Rain is coming soon, I need mud flaps.

Hmmmm, thanks for sharing, I’m thinking twice.
