Title: OK, does ISUZU own Chevrolet or GM?

people have been trying to tell me that isuzu owns Gm and chevy. Is this true??? they say chevy went bankrupt a while back and isuzu bought them out. will someone straighten this whole thing out? who owns who and tell why?

They are clueless.  GM and Isuzu have a partnership where they share products and technology.  GM took their leading pickup design and Isuzu took they leading diesel design and created the Duramax diesel pickup.  This partnership has been in existance since 1971, this is where the Chevy LUV came from.  They currently are 49% invested in the company.   Neither own each other. BTW, They also partner with Suzuki (sidekick)

And Chevrolet is one of the divisions of General Motors.
Chevrolet  Pontiac  Cadillac  Buick  GMC  Oldsmobile  Saturn  Hummer  Saab    Holden  Opel  Vauxhall are all divisions of GM's automotive business.
