I'm looking to shim the passenger side mount of the core support up about an 1/8". truck is on level ground, brand new mounts on cab and core support, and the door is hung properly. Door and fender don't rub. But is very close down bottom with a gap up top. Wondering if anyone has done this and how it has worked for them?

Yes, but you may need to shim the cab as well. Run at least 3 pieces of masking tape along all of your edges while you make your adjustments.

I gotcha. I don't need much. I'm also running an aftermarket fender on that side. Which I hear are very un true. As far as the masking tape goes do you mean to prevent messing up the paint?

I just installed my front fenders. I had to use spacers under the radiator support to get the gaps on the doors correct. Found simpson hardware from Home depot with 1/2" holes and 1 1/2 to 2" square. Worked perfect.

Thank you

Very easy to chip the paint along the edges. Aftermarket is hit or miss but you can rework the fender to achieve the correct gaps and bodylines
