Title: camshaft
Post by: mjolinar on March 28, 2007, 12:03:00 am
Hi all,

I have a 78' 1/2 ton 4x4 with a 92' 350 in it that needs a new cam.

Any suggestions for best overall drivability, dependabilty etc...it is lifted 4" and I run 33's with an auto trans and  3.73 rear end gearing.

I dont want a race truck, just dependability.

needs replacing as in worn out? or you don't like it?
Why not go back with a stock 92 truck cam?

Have a flat camshaft, and the motor isnt stock, so not a clue what is in it.
