Title: Steering wheel cover not staying in place

Hi

1984 GMC truck

What piece(s) am I missing to have my steering wheel cover to stay in place?
see pics

The "teeth" don't have anything to grab onto.    truck doesn't sell original steering wheels, so I can't see what I am missing.

Any help is appreciated.

I forgot to mention the steering wheel is from a 84 Chevy.
