I hope this finds you all OK
A friend of mine Uncle abandoned this Jimmy, in his farm for a long time. We decided to revive it and enjoy some offroad adventures.
After a close check we doubt it was a genuine '78 Jimmy Desert Fox !? As you can see in pictures, it has shown some signs, yet couldn't find the SPI decal!!
What do you think !? Can someone guide us to discover its true identity?

Should have more telltales, grill guard, roof rack same as body color, decals etc. Looks to have been repainted .... Why do you think it's a DF?

Well .. Outside, there is the Hickey Roof Rack, wheels & spare tire/GI Can carrier in pack ( holes ) and tie-downs on side.
Inside 4spd trans, and 100mph speedometer.

The roof rack should be buckskin in color. Does it look like it was ever that color? The tie downs on the bedsides and wheels appear to be correct style. Do you have more pics?
