Currently have the smaller exterior rectangle sport mirrors. Even tho I like them, sometimes they are a little small. Thinking to get larger ones in the picture. If anyone has installed these would like opinions. Also not sure where to buy the best quality. Also would like to know about mounting measurements if any are available.

Optional Mirrors (http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=18539.msg148078#msg148078)
You will also need reinforcement struts that firmly and securely tie the mirror lower mounting bolt positions to the inner door panels; otherwise, vibration will make the mirrors annoying to virtually useless. The OEM struts are different from side to side and, last I checked, obsolete from GM. Either verify that the mirrors come with the struts or be prepared to fabricate your own.
FYI - Some versions of the mirrors you want are heated if you find that a desirable feature.

Thanks for the info. I'm not familiar with the struts you mentioned. Can you be more specific or maybe pics?

Look at the ghost "REINFORCEMENT" drawn behind the outer door skin along the left side of the following image. It firmly ties the inner and outer door skins together to help reduce panel flexing and mirror vibrations. The struts loop around the front of the forward window channels. The left and right door struts do not mirror one another's bends and shapes. Each is unique.
