Did some of these trucks come with a Remy alternator, or factory AC Delco? I swear I remember seing those Remy brand alternators a lot when I was a kid. Which one is more quality. Thanks…

Rubber stamp.  It's like Chevrolet vs GMC trucks.  The differences are merely badging.  Although, in recent years e/g is imported.

The first pic looks like the starter in my '57 Apache w/235. Floor button starter next to the gas pedal, match made in heaven.
